One-to-One Taxidermy Jackdaw Workshop

Take part in an immersive one-to-one taxidermy workshop and learn the traditional art of bird taxidermy with individual tuition every step of the way.

Unlike a group workshop, this session is entirely dedicated to you. Working side by side with me throughout the day, you’ll receive hands-on guidance as you create your own taxidermy jackdaw from start to finish.

You’ll learn every stage of the process, including skinning, preparing and preserving the specimen, before mounting and posing your finished bird. With just the two of us, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to ask questions, develop your technique, and work at a pace that’s comfortable for you.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some previous experience, this workshop is designed to give you the confidence and practical skills needed to complete a traditional taxidermy bird.

* An ethically sourced jackdaw specimen, sourced from pest control.
